By Hand and Heart is a Contemporary Spoon and Home-ware studio based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Pomona, Queensland, Australia. Founded by Brett Manson. I am a maker focusing on hand made, Eco-friendly, sustainable products. Made with respect to the materials and their origin. I produce thoughtful, design led pieces for your table and home. Many parents are nowadays steering clear of plastic for their kids, wood is a great natural alternative, especially for baby and toddler spoons. My products are chemical and toxin free, finished with organic natural oils and organic beeswax.

I take inspiration from nature and geometry. Each product I create embraces where it’s come from through material and design. I value traditional methods of making by hand but continue to strive for a contemporary aesthetic. I try where I can to use materials found locally and that are always environmentally friendly.

My products make wonderful gifts for all occasions like wedding gifts, anniversaries and baby showers.
